Breeding Cane Corsos, a majestic and powerful breed, requires dedication, knowledge, and a deep love for these magnificent dogs. As a Cane Corso breeder, the primary goal is to maintain the breed’s exceptional characteristics while ensuring the health and well-being of the dogs. Cane Corsos are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature, making them excellent family guardians. A responsible breeder focuses on these traits, selecting parent dogs with desirable temperaments and strong genetic backgrounds.

The breeding process begins with careful selection of breeding pairs. This involves thorough health screenings to eliminate hereditary diseases and ensure robust offspring. Genetic testing, hip and elbow evaluations, and regular veterinary check-ups are essential components of a responsible breeding program. Additionally, understanding the lineage and pedigree of each dog helps in making informed breeding decisions that enhance the breed’s qualities while minimizing the risk of genetic disorders.

Raising Cane Corso puppies requires a nurturing environment where they can grow and develop both physically and socially. Early socialization is crucial for this breed, as it helps them become well-adjusted, confident adults. Puppies should be exposed to various environments, people, and other animals to build their social skills. By the time they are ready for their forever homes, they should be well-rounded and ready to thrive in different settings. As a breeder, providing ongoing support and guidance to new owners ensures the puppies continue to receive the care and training they need to become beloved family members.

We are located in Northeast Florida and are all about Cane Corso.

I have been involved with dogs most of my life and all of my adult life. As a child my dream was to be a veterinarian; however, life had other plans for me, and I could not hold it together every time a client had to put one down.

All of my animals are treated as family members and only given the best care possible with nothing but love.

I own both Mom and Dad Corso’s – Athena & Ares. Mom (Athena) is a 2-year-old black brindle and Dad (Ares) is a 1 and half year-old pure gray with not an imperfection spot on him.
